I can understand the need for consistency with schooling, There is a severe lack of social housing which is why the council is paying stupid money to private landlords for property.

I feel though she should move her kids to a more local school as the situation is not going to improve for her.

Well at least it shows that the housing benefit cap it cutting down on some of the more excessive claims - the story doesn't suggest that this women is going to be successful and some of the financial details suggest that she may have been ineligible to claim under the old system anyway. If she was claiming fraudulently you have to be amazed at the cheek to then complain!

If the State is compassionate enough to help an individual with their responsibilities then they have little to complain about.
