18th September 2014.a day that Scotland will confirm its decision to stay in the United Kingdom,If Alex `i dont lie` Salmond beyond any dream ever won the referendum he would lead Scotland to its own funeral,you dont even need to have a high IQ to realise this will never happen.Its great to be Scottish,but its even better to be British,and thats the way i want it to stay.

I agree with your sentiments Canary. I wouldn't say I dislike the English.
Historically we have had a bit of bad treatment from our neighbours to the South, but that's in the past and should remain there.

Personally, being English I would love Scotland to go it alone. Also a separate Ireland, Wales and England north of the Wash/Dee would be absolutely ideal.

But as silly as the last three seem, they are about as likely as an independent Scotland is. The only problem is that when the independence vote has been lost and buried the ridiculous devolved parliament will still remain.

I have no idea what the Scots think of the English but the separation from the English and Welsh would cause some disruption somewhere. Do the Scots have any monetary reliance upon the English Government and rest of the British Isles for their welfare? Bit like the Falklands really without the warships.

Alex Salmond does not appear to me to be interested in Scotland. He seems to like 'winning' elections and self publicising. He wants to win the referendum even if it would destroy Scotland.

Yes some of the photographs if him walking the catwalk in his kilt and stetson were awful! But he does not appear to be embarrased by what he does. I often wonder what he sees in the mirror, it is obviously not what I see.
