Ah AOG - the defeatist approach is it ??

"This is insurmountable, nothing will ever change, find me an easier task - turning a new well on or holding a baby that now has a mosquito net. Nice headlines and a happy photo."

Not much Bulldog spirit there is there?
I have to concur with Mick here AOG - I fail to see how your argument is strengthened.

I also fail to see how this Initiative is 'tilting at windmills'.

In matters of government policy, there are often unmeasurable results - but that is never a reason not to embark on them in the first place.

That's exactly right, if one is on an all expenses paid trip, has nothing else to do, not having to live with the natives, but enjoying the comforts of the best hotel, chauffeured about everywhere, and not even having to get one's hands dirty.
I don't think the validity and intent of a mission like this are inversely proportional to the amount of time and money the individual has to invest, and that the richer they are, the less valid is their intention or contribution.

If that is the case, philanthropy would cease to exist overnight!
AOG

And what's your contribution?
surely anything to highlight these matters is a good thing.
