The Joys Of Travel?
Forget the hassle of airports and security ("Are you wearing boots? Just shoes?Oh that's OK, but your leather belt might be explosive, so must be scanned". And I thought the bloke was the "shoe bomber",not the "belt bomber", and haven't they heard of the underpants bomber ? )
No, I mean, for example: Has anyone been on holiday long enough to work out the controls and everything else on a hire car ? Mine, a Clio, has a TomTom built in, but it's in Danish, and I can't operate it anyway, whatever the language. And who decided to hire cars where you have to reprogram the computer to turn the headlights off, as I had once? And why does no country, seemingly, have road signs that tell you clearly how to get out of the airport without you visiting several interesting terminals and the export depot first?
What niggles do you suffer abroad?
