But then it is reported in the Daily Mail so it may not be true. :0)

But on a more serious note, yet another disgusting crime carried out by yet another immigrant to our shores.

Have we not enough of our own 'home grown' scum, without the need to import more?

Fortunately this time his original light sentence of six years has been increased to eleven years by a panel of appeal judges, should the original judge be sacked for not doing his job properly, or at least made to pay the full costs of the appeal?

Well then I assume you are grateful to Tony Blair for giving the CPS the ability to appeal unduely lenient sentences and get them increased like this.

You seem often to feel sentences are too lenient (occasionally with some justification - I'm thinking of that case in Wiltshire a few weeks back).

So you might like to read this

http://www.cps.gov.uk/news/fact_sheets/unduly_lenient_sentences/

Under who can complain that a sentence is unduely leniant it points out that members of the public can complain to their local area CPS office within 28 days.

So rather than tell us how the world is going to hell in a handbasket you could actually tell someone who has the ability to do something.

Just a thought

I have just noticed that you contributed to the other thread before you posted it again here. Why didn't you just keep your comments for the original post instead of pointlessly opening another.
