Anyone else getting certain words underlined in red, and when one passes one's mouse over these certain words, advert windows pop up?

I have tried AD-Block and also conducted a Anti-Melware scan, but each proved fruitless.

My web browser is Firefox 20.0.1, I have tried asking the question on Editor's Blog but that proved fruitless also.

Firefox spell checker.
Unfortunately, it's American.
I think you must still have an infection.
Yep, me about two weeks ago - didn't notice at first but it was when the mouse hit the red the adverts came up. I tried everything because I am not a good techie. Got rid of them eventually. AOG - put the mouse a few times over the red words see what the advert is - write it down. Go into Control Panel and click onto add/remove hardware - you maybe find the advert there if you go click onto it and remove. I think that is what I done. Let me know how you get on.
AOG,

Right click in the Answer box and just un-tick 'Check Spelling'.
You could always change to your preferred version of English language in the Firefox browser.

Hi ChillDoubt. I don't think the words are highlighted in red by a spellchecker- it seems to be some sort of infection that turns certain words red and brings up an ad when the word is clicked on
As I said here:

"If you're using firefox, go to firefox > add-ons and see if there is anything you don't remember installing."

List them here if you need to, and we can try and spot what's "off"

Good Morning, I am still experiencing the problem although it doesn't seem so widespread.

There is another ADD-ON that I can't remember installing and that is Iminent Mini Bar 6.8.2.1.
