Unforgettable Ships That Have Passed In The Night

Anyone up for a bit of reminiscing? In a nightclub many moons ago I was rescued from the unwanted attentions of a peskily persistent wreck of an admirer by a very seaworthy vessel. I spent the rest of the evening with him, but was suddenly called away and had to dash. In retrospect, it was a bit of a Cinderella moment really and I've always regretted not waiting just long enough to exchange phone numbers. I still remember his name. Has an unforgettable ‘ship’ ever crossed your path?

yes, but he sadly had baggage :(
Yes. I met a man in Thailand and without sounding like a soppy idiot the moment we met we had a connection. We spent the rest of our holiday with him. Luckily I had a trusting boyfriend :-)
Sharingan, I love your posts, you have such a lovely nature and such an old head on young shoulders,
You remind me so much of one of my daughters, when she was younger, her Grandfather always used to say ' she's not a child, she's a 40 year old midget' . X
No -but a couple of ships I let drop anchor which I now regret ;-)
No, I married my 2nd boyfriend and have been happy eversince.
The bloke I met, it wasn't sexual attraction, it was like I'd just met my best mate.
LOL at mags
Ships? Flotillas?..........Fleets.

But no none had been "unforgettable" .....in fact i have already forgotten many of them.

Women ARE forgettable you know.....................very forgettable.
Maybe you go for the wrong type, Sqad :-)
Sqad -if we'd met you would remember (you could look at your scars) LOL!
magsmay...you know........I think that you are right.........with my good looks and your "know how" we would have made an inseparable couple.
I think I got close to The Titanic once or twice ...
I'm still with my Captain Pugwash. :-)

Sqad, you’ve forgotten many of them … but not all of them. ;o)

I know what you’re saying though – and it works both ways. I was potty about one boyfriend – but bumping into him a year after we broke up I didn’t recognise him. How fickle! Haaaa!
A few previous shipwrecks though, one cruiser and a couple of pleasure crafts...
yes Squad -the hospital porter and the hospital tea lady -match made in heaven -or Hell ?
magsmay......get it right...HEAD porter.
