This is the first I've heard about the Jimmy Tarbuck arrest. Howver, I stand by my believe, that I mentioned in another thread earlier, that no names of these celebrities should have been published, until they have at least been charged and preferably found guilty.

Really. In 1960 Tarbuck was convicted of stealing a £2000 gold and diamond encrusted cigarette holder from comedian Terry Thomas. Thomas was on a charity bill at the Luverpool Odeon. The police quickly recovered the stolen item hidden in a carpet at Tarbuck's home. He was given 2 years probation.

So not exactly squeaky clean.

Some victims of abuse don't want to come forward at the time because they are trying to put the trauma behind them, later in life they may feel able to cope with confronting their abuser and maybe trying to bring him (or her) to justice.

Idiots who assume these victims are 'jumping on a bandwagon' really need to wind their necks in!
