I had an MRI scan on my gammy knee this morning ...
I can't decide whether I want to hear "don't worry it will slowly get better" - which means more months of hobbling around, or "it's buggered, but we can fix it" - which will mean ... months of hobbling around.
I did ask if they could fax the scans to my personal consultant ...
"Who is that then?"
"You know, the retired one in Menorca with an obsessive interest in Janet Reger catalogues"
"Well that narrows it down hardly at all ... ALL orthopods have an obsessive interest in fancy underwear"
But seriously folks - I may be back asking for experiences in various procedures once I have the results through.
Dave, Mr Alba had an op on his knee in June/July of last year, or the year before
(You can tell I paid attention)
He has summat with loose cartilege (sp) and was up hobbling a couple of hours afterwards.
He walked with a stick for about a fortnight.
They trimmed it, so hopefully it will be a simple matter for you.
(now have Janet Reger'ed ladies sitting on sqad's knee in my mind, thanks!)
