The Return Of Bergerac
13 Answers
I read a snippet in a magazine that the BBC are planning to bring back Bergerac with a young Jim. It's not been cast yet. Any ideas on who would make a good Bergerac?
Apparently John Nettles is hoping for a cameo role. Perhaps he could be the new Charlie Hungerford.

I was a big fan of the original Bergerac series - not so much because of John Nettles, but because I have close ties to Jersey.
Not sure myself that a rebooted "new Bergerac", featuring a younger version would actually work though. Not enough substance to warrant the interest really.Still, if filmed in Jersey I will probably enjoy that element of it, at least..
Baldric seems unimpressed with "Endevour" - ITVs attempt to reboot the Morse franchise - Myself, I quite enjoyed it. At least Morses character is sufficiently interesting that an exploration of his younger self warrants some interest...
In other news, it seems the BBC are to attempt to revive "Poldark" - but I for one will miss the delectable Angharad Rees as Demelza....
