1. Appears to be true but perhaps exaggerated -- certianly the mucus needs to be regenerated to avoid serious damage.
2. Can't validate this but probably true.
3. What about hirple, etc., chilver etc., and sporange?
4. There is no evidence that Scorpions do this -- search for videos. Most times the scorpion just gets well mad and attacks the alcohol. Won't kill itself though.
