White persons are forever labelled racist by some, even though their comments could in no way be described as racist, by more reasonable minded persons.

But if the following remarks this doctor allegedly made in emails are true, he is a person who can truly be described as racist even though he does not happen to be white.

True, aog, any colour or race an be racist.It's not a preserve of white people, it's just there are many more whites in this country and so it is more commonly encountered with whites. Did you ever think it wasn't? It's not news in itself, any more than religious hatred is. Think back to the partition of India for a particularly bad example of that.

There are actually some asian people who are prejudiced against afro-caribbeans!

When i lived in Southall 30 years ago and observed this sort of thing among neighbours I just didn't understand what was going on.

Now I do.

Of course, a lot of white people have no insight, they do not know what is and what is not racist, and can be both unwittingly racist themselves and quick to call some statement or act racist when it isn't. Is that the 'forever' in white people being called racist, aog?
