they seem to have a valid point, assault is not legal and walking is.
Thank you for posting that video Gromit, that about says it all, A person violently assaults a member of the EDL and gets away scot free and then the police arrest and handcuff twp persons for verbally protesting the injustice.

Incidentally not a 'knuckle dragger' in sight.
How do you know he got off scot free?

The EDL man pushes the man in the back which is assault. He turns around and retaliates. All 4 are arrested, bailed until August.

// ...the police arrest and handcuff two persons for verbally protesting the injustice. //

That is not why they were arrested. The policewoman had tried to speak to them earlier to tell them there was a liklihood they would be arrested if they ignored the ban on the walk going past the mosque. They would not listen to her advice and walked away, and were then arrested for obstructing the police.
quite right for arresting Robinson for causing a public affray and obstruction.
If Robinson, or whatever name he is using today, was arrested, does anyone know how that will square with his present condition of being tagged ? Does anyone know what conditions were placed on wearing the tag ? I have looked on the 'net but can't find anything.

Mikey,

That was my question yesterday. No one has answered.
But we have such a wealth of knowledge and experience here on AB, I would have thought that somebody could have a go at the answer. Where is newjudge when we need him ?
The tag means they must be at the designated place they live by a certain time, I know someone who recently was tagged and he always had to be at home by 7pm. They also have to report to the local police station a couple of times a week.
Thanks tora...I thought it was something like that but I wasn't sure.
Question Author
So the fact that he was tagged when arrested will have no bearing if he is eventually convicted?

Is that correct?
well not related to wearing a tag anyway. He is not breaking any of the tagging rules. Although I don't know what times his particular cerfew is.
He won't even have to attend the police station. The tag people will go to him. They do random checks and the checks really are random.
thugs
anneasquith...short and sweet ! No more words are really needed.
anneasquith

/// thugs ///

I wish some of you had more respect for our police.
Why are the police thugs?

I wasn't referring to the police .
He knows that.

AOG obviously missed the EDL bloke shoving the bloke in front.
