Much as find the whole incident vile and deplorable, I can't see any evidence in that article for AOG's description of "aliens from another country" - it doesn't say anything to indicate that the perpetrators, although black, are not born and bred in this county, and British citizens? Am I missing something?

But yes now you mention your grandparents I do now remember. You made reference to members of our armed forces as being 'paid killers' to which I took offence.

And this was another case where I innocently conducted a Google search to come up with some information regarding the Far-Left, the side of politics that gets very little criticism compared to the Far-Right, so as to balance things up a little.

And I came up with a passage on the site in question which provided me with exactly the right sort of thing I was looking for, so I copied and pasted that section, noting that there wasn't anything offensive or against the rules of the site, I also posted the link from which I gained that particular passage from, completely unaware that it was a dodgy site.

It was only then that the usual suspects went up in arms, and accused me of posting neo-nazi propaganda material, what amazed me however was the fact that if those persons knew that the link was to such publication, they could have chose not to open it up. You then went on almost demanding that I apologised, to the rest of the sensitive shrinking violets that took offence, this in turn caused the AB-Ed to get involved and openly chastised me in front of my accusers, which he failed to do to another ABer a while back, when that person posted on AB a pornographic illustration of a new stamp, which was not removed until I complained, it would seem that some are treated more leniently than others, but then they do not have a pack of baying hounds forever on their heels, waiting to pounce on every occasion.

AOG, are you minded to be pleased that so many people who are foreign or of foreign ancestry, work in the NHS as doctors, porters, nurses etc, or in the CPS as prosecutors, or in corner shops, or in the fields, or in a multitude of other necessary jobs?

You accuse me of 'virtually demanding' an apology when you know i did no such thing - I specifically said that I was not in the business of 'demanding' anything.

And STILL you see this 'conspiracy' against you by some imagined left-wing cabal on this site.

In closure AOG - I think you should have apologised for your 'Nazi' post, albeit done without malice, if offence is caused, an apology is a polite response.

You have chosen not to do so, your choice, but it is noted by those who disagree with you, and they respond accordingly, not because they jump on any bandwaggons, or because they are perceived 'lefties' or any of the other terms you trot out when you are one of your 'poor me' jags like this one.

douglas, my reference to Glaswegians was a dig at AOG, who, it seems to me, has what we might politely call "a distrust of foreigners". It is true that I have defended many a Glaswegian, but it is also true that I have defended and prosecuted many another Briton. Speaking personally, I have not for one moment defended the actions of these dreadful individuals - nor to my knowledge has anyone else, but they can post for themselves.

If you are trying to set yourself up as some knight in shining armour, defender of the weak, then your OP has a strange way of going about it - focusing on the ehtnic origins of the perpatrators, and their fitness to live here, rather than the crime they have committed.
