It's a no win situation, Ron.
If these accused people are guilty, it is dreadful to think they have away with it for years and the suffering they have caused to the victims.

If they are lying, they are putting the accused through horrific stress.

And of course, the truth will never really be proven either way. It will be one person's word against another and whichever way the verdict goes there will be those that choose to believe it is the wrong verdict. No smoke without fire and all that.

And we must remember that we don't know how many, if any, complaints were made at the time. The police back then didn't seem to share information very well either...

At least Stuart Hall pleaded guilty rather than let it go to trial.

One of the charges is from 2007.

Stuart Hall strenuously denied all charges till it was obvious he was going to get found guilty. Then admitted his guilt to try and get a softer sentence.
