Do you agree it was premeditated murder or perhaps an accident in the heat of the moment?

Of course it wasn't an accident but what I meant was he shot at the door in fury. The fact he hit his girlfriend was not intentional and maybe where the verdict hinges.

It's almost like the judicial review process in South Africa is determined by the skin colour or the judge in question...which would be pretty amazing if true - because if it were, then some very clever journalist in SA would've seen a pattern by now.

I would've thought that a bigger problem is that in South Africa, Mr Pistorius is viewed as a national hero, and that may have a bearing on the jury's preconceptions of him as a person. Someone at work likened it to Gary Lineker being charged for murder.

Apparently there are witnesses who say they heard arguing. Must be hard to prove who was arguing though.

There are many discrepancies, including the distance that the witnesses to the argument actually were....and what they could have heard, if anything at that distance.

Like I said, I need to hear all the evidence first before making up my mind...

He was definitely trying to kill somebody, if not his good lady then the intruder so the accident may be who he killed but not that he meant to kill

I don't think in any way it was an accident. He intended to kill someone. Whether it was Reeva or an intruder I don't know but to pump four bullets into a small toilet cubicle you are going to kill whoever was in there.

The is definitely an attitude among some South Africans who would just like to have someone break in so that they can fire off their big guns and hopefully kill the intruder and would probably get away with it. We were always told to shoot first fire the warning shot into the ceiling second then drag the body inside if it wasn't already in the house. I wouldn't shoot someone in my yard but in the house there is a definite possibility I would.

he's white and if he gets black judges hes donald ducked unless the evidence overwhelmingly points to him being innocent, in which case it would be embarrassing for them to find him guilty.
