This man is beneath contempt. Lock the cell door and let him starve for all I care.
No, absolutely not!
Fingers crossed he is successful and saves the taxpayer hundreds of thousands of pounds.

I can only wish him well in his endeavour.
How is it 'moral' blackmail?

He's the only one who lacks any morals.
Just to clarify, I wish him every success in starving himself to death, not getting his transfer!

Isn't he saying, 'If you don't do as I ask I'll starve myself and it will all be your fault.'?
Isn't that a type of blackmail?
He does not deserve anything. He is a disgusting animal. Pardon me for classifying him as an animal, he is the dirt beneath the animals feet. Let him starve himself to death. One less monster in the world.
It's blackmail but has nothing to do with morals.

Let him starve....
No, they shouldn't. He can eat or not eat. He's not free to choose where he wants to live.
Let him starve to death and be rid of.
Dont let him be nearer his family by changing prisons.
He doesnt deserve any sort of leniency.
let him starve I say, but you all know in the end they will give in and transfer him. Prison never used to be , but now is a soft option with "prisoner's rights" its gone too far. Once sentenced they should forego all their rights until the day they are released,
let him starve , lock him in a room and let nature do its work !
I read an article in the sunday mirror this last weekend saying that prisoners are claiming thousands and thousands of pounds in compensation from claims due to trips slips and falls (obviously it appears no induction training undertaken and signed for on admission), failure to grant transfer requests, failure to meet release dates and a whole load more human rights botox, this guy is just trying to screw the insurance.
there's even a specialist firm that will help them claim!
