But we're not police officers. There was a series on ITV a couple of years ago called 'Coppers' - whilst watching it, I realised that I could never join the police because they have to have levels of self control that are WAY above anything I could achieve.

I was fairly sure that I would be tempted to give a good hiding to the majority of those who you saw arrested.

And that would not be a good thing.

I would do more than punch him in the face, I would asphyxiate him ........this to me would be a natural human reaction........police are trained, but are human beings first and policemen second.

We get what we deserve in the UK, if we do not support our "coppers."
