Now that all the defence and prosecution has finished, I have not read how the girl in question who was raped etc, came to be in the company of Le Vell.

Was she and her mother a neighbour or known to him in some other way?

Those have been my thoughts also in this case i.e. there is a sense that everything is vague, no times, dates, locations or circumstances.
It appears very odd.

There are reporting restrictions on the case to prevent the child being identified......in any way!

But surely the girl wouldn't be identified if we were furnished with even general details like whether it allegedly occurred at his house, her house, hotel or even Coronation Street set?

I thought it was common knowledge. Everyone I know has come to the same conclusion. If you read the reports, it couldn't really be anything else.

Not in the slightest, her identity can and must remain unkown, I'm just registering the same curiosity as in the OP.

The identity of the victim remains secret to protect the child.
The fact that it seems to be a bit of an open-secret, (especially if you live in the North West) doesn't mean that is right, or reasonable, to publish details on a website....

I find it intriguing that someone can recall incidents , dates and conversations from the past eleven or so years of their lives with any degree of accuracy. Let alone events that happened when they were children.

As it is, it is clear who the victim is so she is not being protected.

andres, if something horrific and very wrong happened to you, maybe you'd have very clear memories of the event.

hc4631----I would probably remember one incident but I doubt remembering all the dates etc. of several . Not many people have 'perfect recall'.

Andres, the fact that most people can't remember the exact date of a sexual assault (that happened for example when they were just 6 years old) is often exploited by the defence and the victim is accused of lying. For that very reason I don't think we should get too hung up on this.
