Just drove across the cambs/norfolk fens yesterday, 100s of turbines obviously being a flat area an ideal position, the problem was only approx 50% were actually turning and it was quite windy, pointless technology or another logical reason?

they are only turning when their output is needed otherwise the blades are feathered and brakes applied.
