Has a reason been given why this lady has not been named yet and will she be named after the trial
Also would she have had 'mug' shots taken? If so with or without the niqab on

Religious people do expect special treatment though, and often get it.
A 'normal' person might ask to be able to wear a silly hat in court, but they'd be refused.

It has to be linked to somekind of kooky and nonsensical belief that you genuinely hold.

As a civilised society, we need to afford special treament to those who need it because of circumstances they haven't chosen and can't control - e.g their age, sex, physical ability.

They shouldn't be given special dispensation from the rules just because they've decided to obey an old book that says they should wear a bag on their head at all times.
