Whilst his final resting place is still a hotly debated topic and as yet undecided, Leicester Cathedral have submitted thier plans, should their bid be successful.

IMHO it's a monstrosity, but it may appeal to some.

// Its all about money, where ever he gets buried will become a tourist attraction and make £millions over the years. //

Which is why the people from York should just drop it and let them keep him in Leicester. York's already got more tourists than it knows what to do with, whereas this could be the first reason anyone's got to go to Leicester.
Hope he's getting a proper funeral.
A hearse, a hearse, my kingdom for a hearse!
perhaps they could combine the two designs - Anns stone one - maybe in the whitish marble - on the flower tiled base

i agree the first does not look very good - it looks like a 'modern' stone bench you see in town centres, and it hides the tiled design underneath - it doesn't look like a 'whole' piece of design ... rather 2 designs plonked together
Why don't they cremate the remains and put his ashes in a vase on display. That would save a lot money considering the state of the UK is in at the moment financially.
If he knew where they planned to bury him he'd be turning in his grave.

Ann's post with the picture gets best answer. It is a tomb befitting a king.
I have no idea if there is a symbol that represents when a monarch died in battle but IMHO those that did ought to have a knight's sword attached to the tomb, or similar.
I agree with Ludwig................why else would anyone go to Leicester and I'm sick of bloody tourists here in York.
If they cremated him he would be churning in his urn
I bury 'richards' in my back garden daily.

His body was found on a hunch:-)
It looks like a block of cut cheese on a Leeds United emblem.
