Seems to me this chap is using the race card when it is not at all called for. being the highest-ranked black officer in the West Midlands Fire Service, can't be all bad, can it?

What has happened here, is that the Daily Mail has taken one detail out of the race discrimination case, and put it in the headline.
Reading the story, it appears that his case is not really about him being referred to by the name of some other random black person.
Something I'm a little curious about...seeing as all we know about the story is that he had a nickname and that he claims that his career progression didn't go as expected, how comes some are so sure he's playing the race card?
Why is it that? Is it because some people think that all black people are the same and are just looking to screw the system?
I think there's a word for those kinds of people.
Can anyone guess what it is?

I agree sp...if the story was about someone in the Fire Service that was a bit accident prone and was nicknamed Frank, after Frank Spencer, they wouldn't have even bothered with the story in the first place. Just the usual low quality, sensationalist for the DM. We must never forget that the DM is a tabloid newspaper these days, and see the need to act like one with every opportunity it gets. It appeals to the same dunderheads that the Sun does, but without the nudes.

Oh I see all the fault of the Daily Mail again, how dare they mention a known factor of his case put before the city tribunal.
*** His wife Cordell Simpson represented him at the city tribunal. She claimed he had been referred to as ‘Frank’ after the ex-world champion Bruno. ***
Perhaps his missus should not have mentioned it also?
