Why can't people be a bit miffed instead of outraged and a bit upset instead of trawwwmetised. Before the grammar police get involved, I can spell it properly but American programmes have to answer for a lot. I didn't even put the preposition at the end of the final sentence either.
i think its a pointless thing - do the beeb really think anyone gives a toss what the office staff are doing? do they think we really need to see the office to reassure us that the bbc have a dedicated workforce?
or do we just want the news?
its an office like any other and all office activity is not spent sitting at a screen - people eat, people take breaks, people make jokes - its hardly a big deal
