Beneath that shambolic, badly dressed manikins dummy, is one of the best political minds of his generation. He WILL be a future leader of the Tory Party, and its this that keeps Dave awake at nights, not Ed, Red or otherwise.
Also I expect, at sometime in the not too distant future, that Mrs Boris will be in Number Ten, measuring up for new curtains.
And whether he knows the price of a pint of milk or not is completely irrelevant.
Watch this space !

he is far from being a clown, listen next time to what he says, perhaps some seems like waffle, and perhaps some is, but most isn't, people judge him primarily on what he looks like, don't, underneath that mop of blonde hair beats the brain of a very intelligent and often funny man. Whether he would make a good PM, that is a different matter
He's not called BoJo the Clown for nothing but NEVER underestimate this fat shambolic creature. He has followers and one day he will be in #10. whether we like it or not. I fall into the latter. As for "Bring on the Clowns"... that should be the signature tune of this conference. "Bring in the Clowns.......don't bother, they're here!" Or, "Clowns to left the left of me, jokers to the right". Politicians, there's no such thing as a GOOD one. They're all just degrees of bad. Cynical? Moi?
that title is a media piece of nonsense, if some don't like him because of his policies, after all he is not in government, but Mayor of London, then fine, but having listened and watched some of the programmes he has presented, i find him funny, erudite and very knowledgeable, his background, family history is quite interesting, he is quite eccentric in many ways, and does not readily fit the mould of our rather bland politicians. This idea he is some sort of clown is entirely wrong, he isn't, because if he was he wouldn't be in the job he is currently doing, nor perhaps be in line to return to government ranks.
Hawskley, if you reread your OP you'll see that you appear to be suggesting that you and the rest did not understand a word of it. Is it not reasonable to ask, given that, how you can say it was nonsense and in what particulars it was nonsensical?
As I say, general observations such as it is "a load of schoolboy nonsense" don't help us. We can't address generalities like that. Which statements were nonsense and why?
