Harry Potter 6: false Horcruxe (maybe spoiler for does ho do not read the book)

In HP 6 the note on the locker said it would distroy the Horcruxe...well... shouldn`t be Harry thinking he had a friend looking for the Horcruxes too?.... that my well come handy...and I mean WHY keep looking for the locker if the R.A.B.`s note said he would distroy it?? waste of time in my opinium.....

so it isn`t THAT bad that it was a false Horcruxe.... ok ok...... it was a waste of time that ended up killing Dumbledore...... but at least it was tooked by a person that KNEW about the Horcruxes and was trying to distroy them.......

I think it would be of great importance that BEFORE he goes looking for Horcruxes he would find R.A.B. because he could waste time and effort tryng to find Horcruxes that are already distroyed......

any one agrees or desagrees with me or have any comment to do?

I think RAB might be Regulus Black. First of all, two of the initials fit. Also, in Order of the Phoenix, Sirius tells us Regulus may have been killed by Voldermort personally- and doesn't that mean you got yourself into really heavy stuff? I dont really know... my friend had this brilliant idea... so we'll see if he's right later...

Yeah... the only thing is I think RAB is dead, because i believe it is Amelia Bones(she uses her middle name instead of her first name) , who was killed and no one knows why... RAB, may have destoryed others, and voldemort found out and had her killed.... I think there are 8 horcruxes too, harry being the accidental horcruxe.. think about it voldemort just killed lilly so... this would explain the prophecy too... Also take into account that in order to get that locket there had to be two people remember? someone else had to help.. and they had to be an inexperienced one too.

i agree with EugeneRainy that Harry may be a acccedint Hocruxe, "The Dark Lord will mark him as his equal"? he would be an equal if he had a bit of Voldermorts soul in him...ever considered the fact that if he is a Hocruxe, he may have to kill himself to destroy it?

I thought about that snapeevil!!! I don�t know if Mrs. Rowling would let the hero of the books die. Although you can hardly say that the books are still only children books although there are a lot of small children reading the books. Wouldn�t it be a bit cruel to let Harry die? But I don�t know.....she has the ending of her books already written and in a folder in her office. I saw an interview with JK in TV some weeks ago where she showed the folder and it was about two fingers wide. I don�t like the idea of Harr being killed but ....I just thought that the prophecy said that one will live while the other has to die, so doesn�t that tell us that when Voldemort dies, which I really think he does, doesn�t that mean that Harry has to survive the fight and the search of the horcruxes, he could be severly injured but nontheless live??

I don�t think he should search for R.A.B. because even if we didn�t know who he is he could really be dead. Wouldn`t it be better to search for the horcruxes to make sure for yourself that they are destroyed instead of searching for someone who could well be dead by now ( killed by Voldemort for example when he found out who has destroyed his horcrux because I think you can feel it, if a part of your soul is destroyed. Has to hurt in some way, doesn�t it?). ( Please excuse me if there are a lot of mistakes but I�m German and English is not my mother tongue. )

While I agree that I THINK R.A.B. is regulus black, I don't think you can positively say that. Also, we heard from Sirius that Regulus died, but remember that people can be made to look like they're dead. Rowling never actually depicted regulus dying, so for all we know, Sirius is going on what he heard.

Regulus could still be alive, and could be Harry's way of staying in touch with Sirius. Maybe Regulus will come out of hiding, and then maybe take Sirius's place as Harry's "father figure." These are just guesses and suggestions.

The prophecy actually says, "Neither can live while the other survives." This indicates that if one wants to live, the other will have to die. It does not, however, say that the one who vanquishes the other will not die. It's possible that Harry could die to kill Voldy. I don't know if that will happen, but it could...

The locket was already found, they just don't know it yet. They found it in number twelve grimauld place in book 5 when they were cleaning. They found a locket with an 'S' on it, they just didn't realize its significance. And wasn't it interesting the way Dumbledore die, the Killing Course just zaps the life from you, not shoot you into the air. He said before he died that he could hide Draco and his family better than he could possibly imagine. I think that on Dumbledor's orders Snape made it look like he used the killing curse, while using a different non-verbal spell. Dumbledore has got to still be out there, hidden from Voldermort, and death would be the best way to hide.

RAB is Serius Blacks dead brother Regulus Black and his middle name A is probably named after the uncle that gave money to Serius and got his name removed from the family tree rug that hung unremovable in the Black family home. The horcruxe was already destroyed before they caught up with Regulus. By the way the last horcruxe was put into Harry when Voldi tried to kill him and that piece of soul is why Harry can read his thoughts and speak parsel-tongue and why the prediction means so much about one living without the other. READING IS FUNDAMENTAL ! Also Dumbledor did not die he allowed Snape to KILL him thats what their fight was about in the forest. Dumbledore says repeatedly that death was not the worst thing ever. He made Snape do it to protect Malfoy a student and thats what he always puts first the STUDENTS. Thanks
