Typical tory claptrap cause the suffering and blame previous. These people (who were not elected) have no compassion, benevolence or heartfelt regret. They are simply there to put us back where they want us ( 19thcentury) while the smug bastards live a life of carefree and pampered luxery, off the backs of society. That is their role in life and they aim to...

How many of us know people who have been in the grips of ATOS and indeed still are? Lots I imagine, yes to fair assessment, No to cruel heartless decisions taken solely for gaining their bonuses - which they keep even when appeals against them are won.
When I see their name on the back of an envelope on my doormat, I know I will be ill for days with worry.

I wonder how many Tory supporters actually KNOW what life is like on benefits?
I know what it was like to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for years and pay high taxes, but when my health failed, and I had to stop work, then I was shocked at the way I was treated by the system, and the work shy scrounger label used by Cameron and Osborne is disgusting.
They prattle on about hard working people doing the right thing, as if us lot left behind are like a cancer on society, sleeping late behind our drawn curtains, whilst Mr Hardworking Doright leaves home in the dark to pull his guts out for minimum wage and keep the likes of me.

The DWP have laid a vicious benefit trap which will mean severely sick and disabled people will have no legal entitlement to benefit at all if they choose to appeal an assessment by the notorious IT company Atos.
Atos carry out the Work Capability Assessment (WCA), the test for the sickness and disability benefit Employment Support Allowance. This crude computer based test has been use to strip benefits from hundreds of thousands of people by declaring them ‘fit for work’.
From October this year claimants will not be able to appeal against a ‘fit for work’ decision until they have first requested a ‘mandatory reconsideration’ by a DWP decision maker. Only if the claimant disagrees with this decision will they be able to take an appeal to a benefit tribunal. This process is likely to take months.

I would like to know from the Left of this site, how Labour would be able to afford carrying on dishing out benefits to those who don't deserve them, yas unfortunately you are going to have some examples of some being unfairly treated but that is natural in the size of the benefit schemes.
I would also like to know that if Labour do get in at the next election if everything for the 'WORKING MAN' is going to be dinky dory, and they won't want for anything and if some of them got the chance would there be sounds of tumbrels rumbling down Whitehall loaded with the aristocracy on their way to be dispatched in Trafalgar Square.
No, but I tell you now what will happen they wwill blaim the Tories for the mess they have left them in, and then go on to drain the working man of even more freedom and resources.

Anybody who has long experience in factories and engineering can tell you that employers do not give rights to employees, they have to be demanded and fought for.
Also, why are hardworking people who do the right thing, subsidising employers through working tax credits because wages are not enough to liv on?
I understand that only 0.6 percent of benefit claims are fraudulent, and in tax terms that is far less than tax avoiders and evaders who are usually large corporations or rich individuals. Where is the justice?

Maybe by getting companies like Starbucks and Amazon who make profits in this country to pay the taxation that the country expects them to pay.
£32 billion is the estimated gap between expected and gathered tax
How many terminally ill cancer patients could be supported by that do you think?

I am the most ignorant person ever when it comes to politics and I agree that whoever is in power, this is a runaway train out of control.
If only it were just 'some' being unfairly treated - sadly it is 'many, many' the assessments are skewed and the appeals process both arduous and long.
How is it that a large number of appeals are won? Surely it should be a tiny proportion if the ATOS team are doing things right.
