Our culture is being enriched once again by the Third World! Are these people really part of the human race? Is everyone and everything fair game? Do they actually find ANYTHING abhorrent?

Of all the people in that chain of abuse the doctors must be the worst.
It's unbelievable. How many individuals need to be in agreement? I just can't imagine how those conversations go!
If you needed a transplant to save your life, would you turn it down if you knew that it was harvested from an immigrant?
Who is the recipient? Just as some wealthy westerners use third world people as surrogates or baby farms, I'm sure some don't question where their transplanted organs come from.
At the moment I have my doubts about this story. Assuming the girl was brought to this country for her organs to be harvested, who does the process work when she gets here? Can anyone phone the hospital and sell one of their kidneys? Is there a pricelist the hospitals will pay. Even if I wish to sell, will I be accepted?
There is very little detail in tha article, I would like more information before I can condemn it.
In this country, they don't tell you where the donor is from or who they are, so i doubt you'd know.
I agree with Gromit..........an odd story.

How would one persuade a surgeon to "harvest" the organs?
That's what i think. There would have to be very many individuals in agreement. Some of which would have a lot to lose- licences, for example.
And, what happens to the now dead victim afterwards?
I`m pretty sure there was a kidneys for sale scandal in this country many years ago. One of my colleagues was waiting for a transplant and his consultant was involved in the scandal. Can anyone else remember that?
237SJ.......yes, i can, it involved a surgeon from a London teaching hospital........I think his name was Croft. he came up to the GMC and was struck off.

it could have been Craft and i think that it was Imperial College hospital.

Will do some more checking in the morning.
