Is this where our aid money goes? If so are they spending it on British technology?

Well not directly I guess, but certainly indirectly we are paying.

Such nonsense should stop immediately. India takes our jobs and takes our money when it clearly does not need it.
aren't they ending aid to India?

I'm sure they're buying British weaponry to marmalise Martians with, though.
Call centres in space? Now there's an idea.
Perhaps the Indian Government should spend some money in its slums, which are a lot closer to New Delhi than Mars is.
you could have said the same to Washington in the 60s, mikey, but personally I think landing on the moon was a great achievement, worth spending someone else's money on.
I dont thin the US slums in the 60's came anywhere near conditions some people live in India.

It's a long way to go for a bottle of milk late at night.
the biggest US slums in the 60s were probably those in DC itself, ironically, so people could well have suggested the money might be better spent in the White House's backyard. Some probably did.
jno...I remember the moon landings, et al. I was a boy at the time and I thought they were exciting. But America in the 60's wasn't a third world nation. I still think that India has far more pressing problems to deal with.
