"The General Teaching Council panel noted that McNally had suggested that, after a long career, he had made these comments when he was having a particularly bad day."
That must've been a very bad day...
And in answer to my question, I think it has to be a big fat 'yes'.
But what do you think? Do you think he may have simply been teasing the kids or being as un-PC as he could, in order to get a rise out of them?

Politics, religion and history can be tricky at times . At times you can ask the pupils to give their opinions from your neutral facts.
I don't know what a ''long career '' means and we don't know if there had been other incidents but if it was correctly reported then it was the right decision.
