claims he was tortured in Somalia, says that British security were complicit, if so why run, wouldn't it be better to stand your ground and bring a case if true.

This raises a few questions in my mind. If he’s Somali, since he wouldn’t have been a British passport holder, I assume he entered this country as an asylum seeker. If that’s so, his presence in Somalia would have presented a threat, so why did he return, and why, when he did, did he put himself in a position to be arrested and tortured? I smell a rat!

he has brought a case
So we're to believe that half of the UK security services are hunting for a non dangerous person to ensure he has his day in court over torture claims?

Another government debacle brought about by half truths and secrecy.
Question Author
he hasn't bought a case, seeing as how he is on the run, he has made allegations, there is a difference.
Question Author

from the link, if its anonymous, how can one make a claim,

Mohamed and another, referred to as CF, accuse the British authorities of consenting to their arrest by Somaliland authorities in January 2011 and then allowing their detention and torture.

Mohamed launched his damages claim under a cloak of anonymity and was referred to in court papers as "MA" but anonymity was lifted following his disappearance.
Looks like another cynical attempt to extract money from the UK. No surprises there given we are a soft touch and if we throw it out the ECHR will override our decision.

//Another government debacle brought about by half truths and secrecy. //

Not sure I follow that statement?

that we are somehow complicit. Why has he fled then, if one has a genuine case then surely the point would be to put the case firmly and clearly.
Why run from people that have had you tortured?

Hmmm lets see
It's the standard pattern, innit. Go to a foreign country, grab somebody, torture them, bring them to the UK, strap a glorified mobile phone to them and let them wander the streets with minimal restrictions. Happens all the time. Nothing to see here, move along now or you'll be tasered.
Question Author
it is alleged that he received training and was a member of Al Shaabab, one assumes that the security services have a better knowledge of this than we do, there is some doubt also on his passport if you read the link, does he have one, if so who has it.
Question Author
allegations are not truths, you should know that JTP. that has to be determined by evidence, facts.
Passports are not difficult to come by so that is a bit of a smokescreen.
Question Author
there is some discrepancy on who has it, or that he might have another secret one?

I don't smell a rat at all, simply a steaming pile of £££££££££, for his and some legal person.
lets hope the garbage has got out of the country and we can then dream of keeping him out
Question Author
some further info though at this stage no way to verify this, is that he has fled out the country to Somalia, if so why would he go back there.......
our security forces cannot defend themselves can they against this sort of allegation, going on the very nature of the work they do.
