Good post. For anyone who has never experienced first-hand the utter horror and devastation that nature can create, it is unimaginable. News footage, no matter how graphic, cannot adequately describe it.
Thanks, Sloopy...and charities are much better now at working together to make sure donations are not wasted.

How about David,we are all in this together,withdrawing all MPs expenses,Foreign aid to India and Pakistan,also Bankers bonuses for one year and give it all to these Poor People in the Philippines. I dare you Dave.or will you need to get Osbornes permission first???
Hawksley, I know you have a one-track mind, but it’s really shamefully low to attempt to score political points out of this.
You can donate through any Post Office. Minimum donation 1p, though I suppose that most people would chose to donate more. Thanks for this post humbersloop.
It must be the cynic in me but you'd think with all that praying in churches going on that the multi-billion dollar earning, wealthiest-religion-on-earth Catholic church might be making a donation that could dwarf the £10 million pledged by the UK.
