A very wealthy man is going to bank-role UKIP in the run up to the European elections next year. Does anybody think that this will lead on to victory in the 2015 General Election ?

// but come the big one they haven't got a prayer. //

Possibly not. But they could inflict enough damage on the Conservatives to let someone else in.
What concerns me is whether being ruled by a lot of men from the golf club bar is better than being ruled by a load of Oxbridge men who went to public schools !
Come on Gromit, you can't want that knoo Laybore shower back in surely!
Well he gave them a million and a half last time!

Ironically he'd be best investing that money in supporting the Liberals

The Labour party are picking up disaffected Liberal voters 4:1 while that continues to happen the Tories are unlikely to win the next election and there won't be the referendum he craves

I hope he gives UKIP a ton of money!
"Yet another case of former Tories going over to BNP-lite ! "

oh yeah , lest we forget , anybody that doesnt want this country to be turned into a thirld world looking toilet and doesnt like having multi-culturalism rammed down their throats must be a bnp supporter.

No I don't, but there seems to be a good chance Labour will win.

You cannot really support the present Government can you? They are a mess.

What about the men from the bar at the masonic lodges though, Fred.
Baz,

You post reminded me of a Tory Council I once heard speaking to the full Council. He proclaimed...

" We don't want homosexuality rammed down or throats! "

There was much laughter.
our not or
you're right gromit, we need a revolution!
in the 1920s/30s, the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei went from 3% of the vote to 37% in less than 4 years; but this was with the assistance of the wall street crash, and general dissent over the terms of the treaty of Versailles.

UKIP are not likely to emulate even that timescale, given that the British electorate never seem to raise their dissatisfaction level higher than "miffed".

quite right mushroom, the Germans in WWII only achieved a status of "Dam Nuisance"!
No, it wont lead to victory.

Never mind though Millband is back on the TV paying for childcare now. Just how he is going to payroll this (Once again he thinks the Banks will pay) is rather mystifying.

If he and Balls (up) get back in then back to the dark ages of spend spend spend.
tonyav, now you have got me worried ! Masons, eh? I once had a case where some irate man barged into a pub, whence he had been barred, and threatened to shoot the bar staff and anyone else there he disliked. As he appeared to be armed with an effective weapon to this end, one of the staff ran upstairs to a Freemasons' meeting to get help. Why? Because nearly everyone present was a senior police officer. They sent their most junior officer downstairs to deal with it, not deigning to go down en masse.

Those Masons, they get everywhere !
"No, it wont lead to victory."

and its not mean to really,,,as Nick Farrage said in an interview not so long ago, they dont expect ot be in power, but their job more to let people know exactly waht the eussr wants to do with the uk (enslave it for its own benefit) and all the other countries its so far taken over.
/as Nick Farrage said in an interview not so long ago/

One of UKIP's problems is that apparently, not even their supporters know who they are

TTT...I am unsure what a "Euphile" but I am most certainly not anti-British and I take great exception to being accused by you as being so. I am very proud to be British. I am also not racist, for which I am even more proud.
