I agree, airtime should not be given to these sort of people. she strikes me as the sort who will revel in her 15 minutes of fame and probably be thinking she is some sort of celebrity now.

Mind you with the TV of today watch out for her on some rubbish reality tv show!

I think she was allowed on TV to provide a valid message to others of the social media generation (I suspect you, like I, are exempt AOG!) - that posting in haste without thought can have unpleasant consequences.

I find the notion of needing to communicate with strangers in this way (advising of a self-righteous feeling after hurting a complete stranger) utterly alien - as is the notion of 'cyber-bullying' in response.

Was she arrogant and wrong to drive off? Yes.

Was she arrogant, immature and foolish to 'tweet' her experience? Yes.

Can we see that she has learned a valuable lesson, which she was keen to pass on to other who may benefit from her experience? Yes.

On that basis, I can feel a degree of sympathy for this rather silly and imature female - but far more for the cyclist she collided with!

Sorry Andy but I can't agree on that one.

And I suspect she is a user of many 'tools of the devil' eg facebook and wont be in a hurry to give them up.

Personally I am unable to get my head round the need to inform the world of your every little move. I find it very odd when people at the same time bleat on about privacy!!

It's an interesting touch that she is complaining of being cyber bullied with offensive comments, considering that this whole story really began, not with her driving but her own message. And I don't think she's learned much.

it is rash to tell to the world about an accident when the law says you're supposed to tell the police.

But as for whether she was bullied - I have no idea, I haven't seen any of the messages she got, so I don't see hwo anyone else can judge.

But I wonder, if the cyclist did cause the accident by not yielding the right of way, how come he hasn't been charged? Has the accident been investigated at all?

Anyone who posts something on Facebook, Twitter, Vine etc etc should know that potentially the whole world might see it.

The rule to follow is - don't post anything under your own name that you wouldn't want your mother or boss reading.
