I used to love the professionals back in the 70's. His major break came in "The Cuckoo Walz". The of course there was "Who Dares Wins" much later.

Really saddened to hear this. Lewis Collins, although seven years older than me, went to the same school and lived just around the corner from me. RIP Lewis, my thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

I remember him as a rather hammy action actor in the 1970's. I wasn't aware that he was a serious actor as well.
