A bbc news article has a senior muslim figure states that Women of the Muslim faith should remove their Hijab to stop them becoming a target of hate crime. Many people seem up in arms, others agree, whats everyone elses view. Does what you wear have any bearing on your faith?

That is quite likely, thinking logically. The supreme being, creator of the universe and everything in existence, who has himself existed since before time, INSISTED that women cover themselves up lest they corrupt the men even though he created them and knew exactly what was going to happen etc etc ad infinitum. It's blatant stupidity. I feel extremely sorry for these women who have been brought up in such an archaic and medieval culture.
yes well muslim men are so concerned with the modesty of their women and how the western 'infidels' are so corrupted by sex. Then on the other hand, they bang on how about they are looking forward to receving 70 virgins in the afterlife. To me, that has the slight tang of hypocrisy.
anyone who steps on an underground train faces becoming a 'target of hate crime' Keep the Hijab on ladies, I'm sure you can cope with a few funny looks and cold shoulder treatment in the street from a 'minority' . There are worse things happening out there.
