Yes I should have stuck to the usual Daily Mail report on this, rather than trying to appease the Anti-Daily Mail Brigade, by posting from that Left-Wing rag.

I've just realise that could be read as aimed at you AOG. I apologise for that. What I meant was the Guardians News Report is better the Guardians Opinion piece by Melissa Berrill. That is to say, there are two Guardian links, and one is terrible and the other is better.

Don't think its caused a problem for any potential undergraduate.Anyway,William has a degree already.Only thing is that it might be a bit easier for a member of the Royal family to gain entry on such courses a bit more quickly.

No Gromit I had no problem with that, since I realised who you were referring to, but thanks anyway for your apology.
I was wondering if you were going to take a whole "it's not the Daily Mail, bet that surprises you" line. No, it doesn't surprise me, really. This is an opinion piece so sometimes opinions appearing in papers can be utter dross. This is one of those times, clearly.
As far as I can tell he hasn't been 'allowed a place'. He's paying for a short course. Nothing wrong with that.
