Anyone know how much ( if any ) money is usually paid if a tabloid uses photographs taken by an individual ? Ball park kind of figure ?

I would image there are two factors governing this:
1. The subject matter
2. The newsworthy relevance.

Not celebrity , more on local news . An accident that was fatal.

So they want to make money out of a tragedy? Isn't that a little macabre?

I was paid £27 by Chat mag last year.

and I hasten to add, it was a photo of me with Joey Branning, some may think it tragic.
