Yet Another Nursing Home Scandal !

Yet another nursing home scandal. They seem to be coming along every few days. Another home where poor management allowed these three horrors to commit horrible crimes against our senior citizens. Another home where the QCC failed to inspect properly. Where is it all going to end ?

This isn't "yet another". It's the same one you posted about a while back. These people are disgusting and I'd like to emphasise they aren't "carers". When will it end? When humans no longer get a kick out of bullying those more vulnerable.

Incredibly, they had already been suspended, but then allowed to return to their 'duties' with a warning. These abuses were not referred to any authority outside of that hell-hole, so I think some heads should roll among whatever passes for management, in fact they should all be slung out.

Pixie...I wasn't aware that this was the same case but I am grateful to you for bringing it my attention. What is your view about the paltry sentences given out to these monsters ?

I think the sentences are shocking. Barely an inconvenience really. I guess it does mean they won't be allowed to work with vulnerable people again. But i think they need a lot of rehabilitation before they should be let loose again.

Just so long as they are no longer eligible to be employed as nursing home staff. I would hope they are struck off any register and prevented from working in this field again.

CQC when they finally get their fingers out have highlighted a disturbing trend in elderly care, highlighting cases of carers that just do not seem to have the right personality types to be carers at all.
