Whenever I see a church or cathedral often wonder how many died building it,

without any modern equipment it must have been hellish.

Sqad - cruel thing - the 100 000 dead in the Panama canal were killed by Yellow Fever. (mostly) - it is one of the diseases where the guy fixing the vaccine kicked off with infecting himself with the disease.

By no means all of them. The article does mention, further down the page, that about half of them are dying from heart attacks. Not from a lack of physical fitness but from long term psychological stress.

I still wonder if Fabrice Muamba's heart attack was an example of this syndrome but I don't buy the newspapers and TV news didn't do a follow-up about it.
