Even the Guardian is reporting the latest fallout from the EDs economy performance of late. Should they stick to a subject they are better at?

I don't much care for Cameron or the Tories, but i like Clegg much less and the Labour bods less still, i don't care for the ties that Milliband still has with the unions, that he will use for the next election, as to Ed Balls, another changeling.

Yes you do, and yes you are, whether you refuse to recognise or acknowledge it or not. Most contributors here will speak from personal bias over political issues - it is inevitable, and you are no exception in that regard. Any contributor to the numerous threads over politics we have here would recognise that, if they were objective about it.

There are as many diehard right wing posters on this site who will defend the Tories/UKip to the death regardless as there are left wing posters. I repeat, you are not exceptional in this regard.

i do not and have not defended the tories to the death, they make and have made many mistakes, i have however given my vote to them over a long period of time, that most likely won't change, or i will simply abstain next time out, feeling that no one has come up with a grand plan for getting the country really moving.

emmie is right. Look back through the posts on this site. One think that separates the left from the others is their blinkered view on the world they they will not tolerate challenged. You will see many on the right on here who do not adopt the full right wing mantra and we even argue amongst ourselves because that is healthy debate that makes us stronger in the long run.

I think LG is wrong about another coalition

Look at the maths - the reason a coalition was possible last time was because the Liberals had enough seats to hold the balance of power.

Right now they're looking at 23 seats compared to the 56 they currently occupy that means the result would have to come in very finely pitched for them to still hold that balance

UKip might win one seat or maybe a second if they have a stormer but in the arithmetic of commons seats they're irrelevant

One side or another will most likely get an outright win but it may not be a big majority which will put the PM whoever it is at the mercy of his back benchers.

No she isn't, and this is a classic example of the ostrich like ability of "the right" to play the victim card. Short memories, perceptual bias and a lack of objectivity. It would be nice to see those from the right that include in their posts a snide reference to "the left" at least acknowledge their own bias and lack of objectivity, but of course that seems very unlikely to happen.

I do not care, emmie. I will continue to post this way.I do not assume anything, and it saves the readers the inconvenience of having to scroll back to the specific post in question.

@JtP Yes, that/s true enough - what happens to the Lib Dems will obviously effect a prospective coalition, and they have suffered a spectacular slump in popularity.I guess we shall see closer to election time ;)
