Beware Britain and batten down - the storm has started down here and, quite simply, at 4.40pm, it is already FOUL.......the wind is strong, gusting strongly already and the rain is heavy at times. Seriously awful and we have a night of this and tomorrow to come - with two high tides.

The electricity is beginning to flicker as well, now three times.....

Good luck all, particularly any Somerset, East Devon, Kent and Surrey folk, not forgetting our Northern Ireland folk like Psybbs.....

Our cross hovercraft service has been suspended DT, so we got the wind ! Awful isn't it? Makes us wonder when it will ever stop. Stay safe all.

Well it's been an absolutely glorious day here today. Lovely sunshine, but VERY cold, and LOTS more snow on the mountains. Madam Snowdonia is looking beautiful in her white gown. x

Whereabouts are you DTC? We have been fantastically lucky here in Lincolnshire, which doesn't make you feel any better I'm sure. I keep wondering how I would cope and I honestly don't think I would be able to. Sending a 'keep safe' hug xx

I think we had that yesterday, sand blown everywhere, DTC. Today was sunny but very cold. I hope you are all safe and the storm passes quickly x
