/// Just recalled something you wrote yesterday. ///
/// "he is referring to the possibility that their propaganda may sway their sexuality" ///
/// But today you write: ///
/// "Among that legislation I still cannot see proof where Putin has suggested that gays are recruiting kids." ///
/// Which seems like a contradiction. ///
It is because both are addressing different responses that you yourself made.

SO...you change your stance depending on the point you want to make?
What do you actually think?
Either 'gay propaganda' can sway someone's sexuality or not. What do you believe.
I'd also be interested to hear what you think about these new laws. Good thing or bad thing?
Also, referring back to your post to Brenden. Do you think that gay people should accept open hostility, hatred, and the kidnapping and humiliation of gay people in Russia as 'a different point of view'?

I am no expert on homosexuality or the human mind, but there have been many instances of adults changing later in their lives, so why not impressionable youngsters?

You are far from stupid.
The use of 'so called' in this context is wrong.

AOG, do you mean that an adult who is completely heterosexual can change into a completely homosexual adult later in life? Blimey. If that is what you mean, what on Earth have you been reading to lead you to that conclusion?
Has it occurred to you that the man or woman has been living the life of a heterosexual but has been homosexual all along?

Good point. I think that some people think that sexuality if fluid (ie. you can be persuaded to become gay or straight) and some think it's fixed at birth.
I believe that those who think the former is true have been blind-sided by stories (and they are quite rare) of people who come out later in life.
People who support Russia's view that gay 'propaganda' should be kept away from children are basically, in my opinion, quite wicked. Because what they're saying is that children need to be protected from gays. It's very regressive.
