For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Like I said in Ab Editor's thread: It doesn't matter if natural emissions outweigh human ones by a vast factor -- because, without the human contribution, those natural emissions would be almost exactly cancelled by a similar absorption from, say, plants photosynthesising, and marine life locking up carbon in its shells and so forth. The human contribution tips this balance. It's the difference between 100 in, 100 out, and 102 in, 100 out. It's clear then that while the extra contribution is only 1/50th of the background contribution, it's also enough to take a system away from balance and into growth.

Having shared office space with 3 veggies, I can vouch that farting was a lot more common on their side of the office than on my side. By the way, not all us "lefties" enjoy lentils. We had Pease Pudding a lot when I was a boy, as my parents were not terribly flush and now at the age of 60, I have had enough for one lifetime.
