According to the email Mr Blair suggested "no rash short-term solutions as they only give you long-term headaches".

He added: "It will pass. Tough up."

I think he was right about short-term solutions. He may yet be proved right that it will all blow over, though on the evidence so far she could be in a lot of trouble.
Hmmm, advised her just 6 days before her arrest.
One does wonder just how close she was/is to the current and former PM's.
I wonder if anyone in the Murdoch family is sweating a tad? Just a thought.....

Seems a little slow on answer bank today, I wonder why?
Were they all in it together to coin a phrase... Who knows, certainly not the great British public..

Tony Blair isn't on trial and he is a barrister, so why shouldn't he have offered advice - which seems sound enough to me - to someone he apparently considered to be a friend?
just the person you want on your side.
then perhaps like some of these politicians they should choose their friends more carefully.
