SP, had Breivik specifically targeted Muslims, to an extent I might have agreed with your first sentence. I do, however, agree with your last four lines.
Got to go - I'm getting nothing done today with all these interesting discussions. :o)
"And I suppose he wasn't also criticising this country for killing innocent civilian muslims in Iraq? "
I don't know - you should ask him. But I do know that Gromit is/was extremely critical of the Iraq war and its mortal cost.
That doesn't mean he's okay with the Lee Rigby killing though, as anyone with half a brain is perfectly capable of working out.
You're veering dangerously close to that hysterical "anyone who disagrees with me is a taliban supporter" thing you sometimes do. Let's not start again - it didn't end well for you last time.
does it matter, a man lost his life in the most barbaric fashion, by two miserable excuses for human beings, i hope when the sentence is given, which i had expected by now, it will be life with no chance of parole.
TWR one of the reasons over sentencing was that the Judge petitioned the higher court over whether a full life sentence can stand, it can, so now we just have to hope that is what they are going to do.
i think that some will find a justification for this type of killing, a reason, in my mind there isn't one, they are just two murdering pieces of scum, who have nothing to look forward.
Only people of the same mindset could attempt to justify it. Doesn't mean they didn't have their own twisted reasons though. As Naomi has said so many times, they think they are soldiers of Allah.
It's probably the most barbaric thing I've ever seen and I hope they never see freedom again.
some in this country will justify it, going on the conflicts that went on in Iraq, Afghanistan, that they see any involvement by the west as open season for more bombs on our streets.
i quoted before that one called himself a Soldier of Allah, shame he didn't fight for whichever country he thought was most in need of his services and got killed doing his duty.
