Oh hi jacking your thread.... is it lawful for a govt to abandon a bill in parliament because it wont pass, giving them power to grant immunity from prosecution ( for bombings )
and then go ahead and do it anyway ?
Someone raised the question that, if the Scots do decide to go it alone and, are unable to join the E.U. because of other countries concerns, where would that leave the remains of the U.K.? Would they need to reapply for membership as a new country and, more importantly would they be accepted?
You've all skirted 'round the question but no one has answered it. What a bunch of politicians! Could they just become the Independence Party? Or could they join Nick Clegg and become 'The Has-Beens'?
Cheers all.
we won't be the United Kingdom any more, if Scotland gets its independence, however i don't see it happening, and if it does we will have to call ourselves something else, answers on a postcard
