Are The Tories Preparing To Lose The Election?
Apparently, the Chancellor George Osborne is urging Boris Johnson to get elected to parliament before the election in 2015. Johnson is London Mayor until 2016. Osborne wants Boris onboard, so that when they lose the general election, Boris is tarnished as much as Dave and Gideon. Even Boris isn't stupid enough to fall for that, but it does have the air of them preparing to fail, don't you think?

I think all parties are preparing for another unwanted coalition. I doubt if Boris comes into the equation.
I do remember dealing with the old LCC under Red Ken's cronyism and seeing his pals enjoying Carribbean junkets at taxpayers expense. So for Londoners sake I hope Boris doesn't go into parliament.
I don't think the country is ready for another Labour spending spree and inflation.

can see that happening, or perhaps not. Alex Salmond says that he wants to keep the Monarchy, so isn't going to ditch them. As to companies hot footing it to Scotland, you have to have major infrastructure in place, homes, offices, for these businesses people, so that means money to splash out on building them. Where do you get that money, from the Scottish taxpayer, are there sufficient funds to pay for all the things that Salmond wants. Are the English, Welsh, Irish folk living in Scotland, those who get a vote, going to want to see the Kingdom break up, maybe not

All of Salmonds wishes are based on what Scotland can afford, do they have enough by way of business, aside from the oil to keep them viable, afloat, i wonder. Castles in the air come to mind when i listen to him.
