Missing Malaysia Airlines Flight - Hijacking...but...
According to the latest reports, investigators are theorising that the airline was hijacked, and flew for another seven hours after communications were disabled.*
Okay, if that's the case, surely someone out of all the plane's passengers could have called or texted someone at home?
(*I assume by 'communications' they mean the plane's communications lines).
Thoughts?

A jumbo jet with hundreds of passengers on board is a very difficult thing to conceal at any airport or airstrip, so it would seem safe to assume its crashed. There now appears to be 26 countries that it may have crashed into. I still can't see why no wreckage has been found.
1. I doubt we will find this plane intact and all the passengers alive.
2. The search area is vast, so the lack of sighting of wreckage is not surprising.
3. It seems like a strange hijacking to not make themsrlves known or make demands.
4. Unless they have and the Chinese and Malaysian aurhorities are not telling us.
5. As above, the authorities, if it was a 9/11 style hijacking, may have elected to force a landing somewhere remote and are not telling anyone.
6. The US seems to be teasing that the official story is inaccurate.
7. I still reckon the plane is at the bottom of the ocean.

Khandro, the hunger of the passengers would be subsequent to a safe landing so is irrelevant.
Scanario...Land at remote airstrip, offload passengers, fly on to even more remote airstrip and hide plane. Tell airline that for £100,000,000 they will be given the plane's location.
Of course it may be that the location of the plane is known but nobody want's to alert the hijackers to that as a rescue is being planned.
