Incidentally, it might surprise you to know that my husband gets up at 4am every day and catches the first train into London - a journey of at least an hour and a half. He never arrives home before 8pm, and often not before 10pm. Alright for some, eh?
naomi unless they have changed things in the last few years from what i was told by some railway drivers they do not just turn up turn a key and drive the train
with carrying members of the public they have safety checks that they have to do before they can move the train
